She sings in Walmatjarri\, Kimberley Creole and English and other known and lost languages. \nThe Gray Brothers\nAlbert and Elwood Gray have been part of the Broome music scene for as long as they can remember. From knee high kids busking at the Courthouse Markets\, to sharing the stage with John Butler and Stephen Pigram at the Cable Beach Amphitheatre. He’s been playing since he was 21\, deciding to pick up the guitar and learn\, self-taught\, he drew inspiration from local bands around the Kimberley.\nTye’s style involves soul\, country\, blues and rock\, which you can see mixed into his original songs.\nCurrently working on producing new singles\, there is so much to look forward to from this artist in the near future. \nLeanna Shoveller\nLeanna Shoveller is a Karajarri/Yawuru woman from Bidyandanga/Rubibijilla-Broome. Singing at a young age she has entertained all over and around the Kimberley\, Pibrara\, and Northern Territory. Her first huge performance was at Broome’s first festival ‘Stompen Ground’ in 1992\, which is still a big success today. \nAt age 16 she made her first solo album (Where We Sat Down) and at age 18 went on to making a documentary about the relationship between a father and daughter’s love of music\, culture and the importance of family\, This short film went throughout Australia’s SBS and ABC programme. \nToday she loves to share her life stories\, country and culture\, through her songs\, some in her native language Karajarri.\nAnd other times she’s rocking in her hard rock cover band Darkside that has been entertaining all around Broome. \nBrightsider\nWith over 15 years in events and entertainment after growing up with guitar in hand\, you could say that music is Dan’s jam.\nWith 1500+ shows and over 70 releases to his name\, Dan has toured internationally and supported acts such as Xavier Rudd\, The Cat Empire\, San Cisco\, Winston Surfshirt and many more in his time.
